A TikTok video showing a man using a three-month-old baby to wipe snow off his car's windshield as part of a stunt has sparked widespread outrage on social media.
Texas police are investigating the incident after the video, recorded in Port Arthur, went viral. Originally posted on the TikTok account @heaven_is_psyco, the now-deleted footage shows the man repeatedly moving the baby across the windshield to clear the snow.
Social media users condemned the act, with many calling it “disgusting” and labeling the man as “abusive.” One commenter wrote, “It’s shocking what some so-called parents will do for clicks,” while others insisted, “He doesn’t deserve the child.”
A city attorney reported that he contacted the police after seeing the video. Authorities confirmed that the case has been assigned to a patrol lieutenant and a detective.
Following a welfare check at the family's apartment, authorities made contact with the man and are seeking to charge him with child endangerment. It was also stated that involving Child Protective Services in such cases is standard procedure.
“It’s a sad situation. I know a lot of people turn to social media for attention, but putting a baby on a windshield is completely unacceptable,” an official stated.
Fortunately, the baby appears to be unharmed after the incident.
