JioHotstar is a new OTT platform created from the merger of JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar.

It will also aggregate content from international studios like NBCUniversal Peacock, Warner Bros., HBO, and Paramount, offering something unique that no other streaming service currently provides.

JioHotstar is available for free with ads, allowing users to watch content without a subscription.
Users can opt for ad-free experiences with subscription plans starting at Rs 149 per quarter.
There are two main subscription variants: the Super plan (with ads) and the Premium plan (ad-free).

Super plan (with ads):
Rs 299 for 3 months or Rs 899 for a year.
Available on two devices simultaneously.
Premium plan (ad-free):
Rs 299 per month, Rs 499 for 3 months, or Rs 1,499 per year.
Allows access on up to four devices at a time.
Mobile-only plans:
Rs 149 per quarter or Rs 499 per year, but available for one device at a time.
Live Sports for Free:
Live sports content, including Cricket, Tennis grand slams, and Premier Leagues, will be available for free on JioHotstar without requiring a subscription.
While the platform offers free access to live sports, it remains to be seen if there will be any paywall for sports content in the future.

Sanjog Gupta, CEO of JioStar Sports, emphasized that JioHotstar is revolutionizing sports viewing in India by combining technology, access, and storytelling.
