Kate Winslet will be honored at the Zurich Film Festival, taking place from October 3 to 13. On October 7, she will receive the Golden Icon Award and present her latest film, Lee.
In Lee, Winslet stars as the renowned war photographer Lee Miller and also serves as a co-producer. Miller’s son, Antony Penrose, and co-producer Kate Solomon will join Winslet at the screening.
Directed by Ellen Kuras, the film portrays Miller’s remarkable career as a correspondent for British Vogue during World War II. Winslet brings to life the courageous Miller, one of the 20th century’s most significant female war photographers, as she uncovers the hidden realities of the Third Reich.
