In a shocking development, it is learnt that the younger daughter of musical maestro Ilaiyaraja, Bhavatharini who had been struggling with an unnamed medical condition for many years has sadly passed away.
The 47-year-old musician worked as a music director early in her career and she had been limiting herself to a housemaker of late after discovering the medical condition.
She was traveling along with Ilaiyaraja on his trip to Sri Lanka. When she complained of uneasiness, she was rushed to a hospital in Sri Lanka and was receiving primary treatment.
But the medical condition deteriorated and Bhavatharini was sadly pronounced dead by the medical team tending to her. This came as a shocker to the family who are returning to India along with the mortal remains.
