Megastar Chiranjeevi is collaborating with young director Vasishta for his upcoming film which is titled Mega156 temporarily. Here is an interesting update on the film and here is a look into the same.
The project is to be mounted on a large scale and we are hearing that the makers, UV Creations are spending in excess of Rs 200 crores on the project.
This is a big risk on the Chiranjeevi starrer as UV Creations are spending a whopping amount of money on the project.
The issue here is that Chiranjeevi doesn't have a substantial market in other languages. While he is a top star in Telugu, there will be not much contributions from other states, barring AP and Karnataka.
This means that spending Rs 200 crores on the Chiranjeevi starrer will be of huge risk for UV Creations as recovering such a huge amount on the film which doesn't have much appeal in other languages could backfire big time.
