Andhra Pradesh CID had already commissioned an investigation against Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development case and he has been serving 14 days in remand.
Now, the CID has filed another case against CBN and this time around, it is in the AP Fiber Grid case.
The CID has asked for Prisoner Transfer in the CBN case as they have claimed that there is a Rs 121 crore scam in the AP Fiber Grid scam. They say Chandrababu gave away the contract to Terrasoft Software company for a throwaway price.
The CID has asked for the permission to investigate Chandrababu in this case and the court took up the case today. The hearing regarding the same is expected to start soon.
If this case gets permitted by the court, then Naidu's remand will be continued and he will have to cooperate for the investigation in the Fiber Grid scam as the CID says they have enough information form the SIT investigation to point Naidu as the main accused.
