Superstar Rajinikanth has made a scorching comeback with Jailer which has turned out to be the biggest hit in his career. The film has collected a shade over Rs 600 crores at the global box office and it is the highest grossing Tamil film of all time.
In this context, we are now hearing a new update pertaining to the amount of money Rajinikanth made from Jailer.
Apparently, Rajini was paid an amount of Rs 110 crores upfront as his token remuneration for the film. This was paid even before the commencement of the shoot.
And on top of that, the makers had signed a deal with Rajini to an extent as such that Rajini will be getting a share in the profits based on the collections of the film at the global box office.
As a part of the profit-sharing program, Rajini has bagged another additional Rs 100 crores for the film, say reports. Apparently, Maran, the producer of the film has already paid the cheque to Rajini. Meaning, he has made a total of Rs 210 crores from this film.
