Prabhas’s blockbuster Kalki has opened on a fierce note at the box office by grossing over Rs 500 crores in the opening weekend itself. It’s posting some of the best numbers ever seen in Indian cinema.
Coming to the OTT side of things, the film has officially sealed Amazon Prime Video as its post theatrical digital streaming partner.
Amazon Prime is usually aggressive when it comes to orchestrating earliest possible OTT release for its acquisitions.
In this context, the film should be heading for release in around four weeks from now. But this is just a vague assumption as the wait for the official word from the makers is awaited.
Kalki is currently going well at the box office and it just continue its theatrical run for a while. The OTT release might also be delayed to bode with the theatrical run.
