Rajinikanth's Jailer is going bonkers at the box office with record revenues being reported at almost every major box office market across India and also in the overseas belt. The film is showing no signs of slowing down yet.
Coming to the topic, Jailer is now headed for its OTT release which could be in the not too distant future.
The post theatrical OTT streaming rights of Jailer are with Sun NXT, which is owned by Sun Network who have also produced the film.
With the producers keeping the OTT rights with themselves, they can orchestrate the OTT release based on the theatrical run. They can ensure a safe OTT released plan that will not hurt the box office prospects of the film.
Sun NXT is likely to stream Jailer on the platform from this Septmeber and an official announcement on the exact release date could be out not too far from now.
