The 5th edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards, held in Mumbai on Sunday, was marked by the reunion of Vijay Varma and Kareena Kapoor. Kareena won the Best Actor (Web Original Film - Female) award for her performance in Jaane Jaan, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Vijay Varma, her co-star in the film, shared a series of playful pictures on Instagram from the event, where they posed goofily and celebrated multiple wins. The photos included a pouty shot of them together, and another where Jaideep Ahlawat was seen holding his awards.
Earlier, in an interview, Vijay spoke about the "fatal attraction" his character had for Kareena's character in Jaane Jaan, describing it as one-sided love. Kareena, in another interview, shared an anecdote about her husband Saif Ali Khan’s advice before working with Vijay and Jaideep. She mentioned that Saif warned her to be more prepared as they were highly professional actors. This marked Kareena's first on-screen collaboration with both Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.
