Chiranjeevi is the biggest commercial star Tollywood had seen in the recent past and there arent many who can debate this fact.
However, questions are raised about Chiru's choice of scripts and films in the recent past as he has been sticking to outdated commercial films that are not satisfying fans and common audiences alike.
Films like Acharya and Bholaa Shankar have dented Chiru's image to an extent and the onus is now on Chiru to make a striking comeback.
Like for instance, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth have given strong comebacks with Vikram and Jailer respectively. The common thing between these two films is that the two senior stars play their age in these films and they have something new to offer to the audience.
Perhaps it is time for Chiru too to work on something on these lines. It should be richly rewarding to see Chiru in such films that tap into the actor in him and also offer commercial entertainment. This is exactly what Chiru should be doing now to please not just his fans but also the common audience.
