The Telugu OTT space is welcoming two biggies, Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya. For now, all the attention is on Veera Simha Reddy.
Disney+ Hotstar aggressively promoted Veera Simha Reddy before its OTT release. They even released video bites of Balakrishna vouching for the film and suggesting the audience to watch the film.
Veera Simha Reddy is indeed making a lot of noise following its OTT debut.
But on the other hand, Waltair Veerayya which is up for OTT premieres on the 27th of this month is not making any noise whatsoever.
Netflix has absolutely left Veerayya’s promotional campaign to the air. There isn’t a single round of promotions yet.
Factually speaking, Waltair Veerayya is the biggest box office success of these two films and of anything, it should be the Center of attraction even on OTT. But owing to Netflix’s poor promotional planning, Waltair Veerayya is lagging behind Veera Simha Reddy.
