It is a known thing that the culture of studying abroad has caught up a fair bit in India. Almost every other student is interested in going abroad for higher studies and a good majority of them actually doing so.
Now, the U.S. Embassy in India has revealed that a record number of Indian students were given student visas in the last three months.
"The U.S. Mission in India is pleased to announce that we issued a record number – over 90,000 – of student visas this Summer/ in June, July, and August. This summer almost one in four student visas worldwide was issued right here in India!"

With this, the numbers are such that 1 in every 4 international student visas approved by the USA are for Indian students.
