IMDb, the world's largest film database platform has been releasing the list of trending films and actors in Indian cinema. The other week they released the list of leading actors in Indian cinema for the year 2022 and Dhanush topped the same.
This time around, IMDb released the list of leading films for the year 2022 and it has one clear cut winner - RRR.
The Rajamouli directorial is the leading film of 2022 on the database platform and the same was confirmed a short while ago. It has beaten the likes of KGF 2, Vikram, Ponniyin Selvan, Kantara, and others which shook the Indian film industry.
"Of all the movies released theatrically or digitally in India between January 1 and November 7, 2022, and have an average IMDb user rating of 7 or higher with at least 25,000 votes, these 10 titles were consistently the most popular with IMDb users." IMDb's criteria read.
"As determined by the actual page views of the more than 200 million monthly visitors to IMDb worldwide. This exclusive and definitive data is derived from IMDb movie rankings, which are updated weekly throughout the year." IMDb added.
