Thaman's 'Jai Balayya' Expenditure Touches Sky

Thaman started a phenomenon ever since Ala Vaikuntapuram Lo. He does the cover songs of his own songs for publicity sake.

This costs the producer a lot but so far it is proved that this model is the best tool to take the songs into the public with better penetration. This helps the openings of the film as well.

Thaman charged around Rs 25 for each cover shoot during Ala Vaikunta Puram Lo. It got hiked up for Sakaru Vaari Paata. Now he started making cover songs for Veera Simha Reddy as well.

Though the producers didn't comment openly, they are lamenting at their friends regarding the cost of production for the cover song, as per the sources. It's not going to stop with one song. There are many in the film.

Taking inspiration from this, Devi Sri Prasad also may do the same for Waltair Veerayya.

The cover songs activity is going to be an income source for singers, music directors and art department.
