Superstar Mahesh Babu is collaborating with Trivikram for his upcoming project SSMB28 which commenced the shoot recently and is likely to hit the theaters by the end of this year or early next year.

Coming to the OTT aspect of the film, we are hearing that the makers have closed the deal with Netflix for an earth-shattering amount of money. 

Apparently, Netflix, which is the official OTT streaming partner of the film has shelled out a whopping Rs 80 crores for the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of the film.

If that really is the case, then it means that SSMB28 has closed the biggest-ever OTT deal for any regional Telugu film till date. This speaks volumes about the kind of mass hype and anticipation this film is carrying. 

The makers appear to be laughing their way to the bank already as SSMB28 is starting to clock record pre-release business much ahead of its scheduled release. The film is sure to emerge as one of the biggest Telugu films ever in terms of pre release theatrical and non-theatrical business.
