Samit Dravid, the son of former Indian cricket captain and current head coach Rahul Dravid, has been included in the India U-19 squad for a highly anticipated multi-format series against Australia. This series includes a three-match one-day series in Puducherry and two four-day matches in Chennai. However, despite this selection, Samit will be ineligible for the 2026 U-19 World Cup as he will be over 20 years old by then.
Currently, Samit is participating in the KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy with the Mysore Warriors, but his performances have been modest so far, with only 82 runs from seven innings and no bowling figures.
