India Slams Pakistan at UNHRC, Calls It a “Failed State” Thriving on Instability

India strongly criticized Pakistan at the 58th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva on Thursday, dismissing its false claims on Jammu and Kashmir and branding the country a "failed state" reliant on international aid.

India’s Strong Response to Pakistan’s Allegations

In response to Pakistani Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar’s allegations of human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir, Kshitij Tyagi, India’s representative at the UNHRC, accused Pakistan’s leadership of spreading lies dictated by its military establishment. "It is regrettable to see Pakistan's leaders and delegates continuing to spread falsehoods handed down by its military terrorist complex. Pakistan is making a mockery of the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) by abusing it as its mouthpiece," Mr. Tyagi said, condemning Pakistan’s attempt to misuse international platforms for its anti-India rhetoric.
