The Telangana government has initiated the construction of a new Osmania Hospital, aimed at addressing both the current and future healthcare needs of the state. The foundation stone ceremony for the hospital is scheduled for today at Gosha Mahal, with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy presiding over the event. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka and several other ministers and MLAs will also attend the groundbreaking ceremony. This project is a priority for the Congress government, which has committed to building a healthcare facility that meets international standards.
The new Osmania Hospital will span an impressive 26.30 acres and feature state-of-the-art medical services, including 2,000 beds to cater to a wide range of healthcare needs. The hospital will include multiple operation theaters, advanced diagnostic services, and comprehensive in-patient and out-patient care. A notable feature of the hospital is India’s largest multi-level parking system, which will ensure ample parking space for visitors. With 30 specialized medical departments, the hospital will be equipped to handle a variety of complex medical treatments, including organ transplants for kidney, liver, and skin.
In addition to the advanced medical facilities, the new hospital will include a 750-seat auditorium designed for medical conferences, events, and community programs. The goal of this new Osmania Hospital is to provide world-class healthcare to Telangana’s growing population and evolving medical needs. With its modern infrastructure and specialized departments, the hospital aims to become a leading medical institution in India and a critical part of the state’s healthcare system.
