In a shocking hit-and-run incident that came to light belatedly, a 30-year-old man named Lingala Tarakram was killed on the spot following a fatal crash with a speeding car. The incident happened at the intersection of Jubilee Hills 36/10 roads.
Tarakram works as a bouncer at the Novotel Hotel in Madhapur. He was traveling on a bike along with his colleague, Raju at 5 AM on Wednesday after completing his shift. Sadly, a speeding car hit the bike from behind at the Jubilee Hills intersection.
The impact of the crash was so brutal that Tarakram and Raju plunged 20 feet into the air and landed some 100 meters away from the intersection road. Tarakram sustained severe injuries to his head and he died on the spot. Raju was rushed to hospital and his condition too is critical. The hit-and-run driver absconded after the accident.
The culprit has been identified as one Ruthvik Reddy and he is in police custody now. The police have filed a case. The family members of the deceased are protesting at the police station.
