Special Arrangements for Ratha Saptami:
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is all set for the grand celebration of Ratha Saptami on February 4. TTD Chairman BR Naidu confirmed that the Trust Board has made extensive arrangements for the occasion. Notably, all arjita sevas (special services) will be performed in Ekantham (isolated worship), which will ensure the sanctity of the rituals. In light of the festivities, recommendation letter darshans will be cancelled, and Sarva Darshan tokens issued in Tirupati will not be valid on this day.
Darshan and Safety Measures:
Devotees attending the Ratha Saptami celebrations will be guided to the Vaikuntham Queue Complex to take part in the darshan of Lord Venkateswara. This will help manage the crowd and ensure smooth entry. Additionally, the Mada streets surrounding the temple have been cleared of any blockages to ensure the safe passage of the Vahana Sevas (processions). To offer protection from the elements, special sheds have been set up along the route, providing cover from both heat and cold.
Prasadam Distribution and Devotee Comfort:
Over 8 lakh laddu prasadams will be made available to devotees, ensuring that everyone has access to the sacred offering on this auspicious day. The TTD has ensured that devotees are not only spiritually fulfilled but also physically comfortable by organizing the necessary infrastructure and provisions.
This year’s Ratha Saptami promises to be a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all devotees attending the celebrations.
