In a shocking incident from West Godavari district, a woman named Naga Tulsi received a parcel containing the body of an unidentified man instead of the promised electrical appliances. Tulsi had earlier applied for financial assistance from the Kshatriya Seva Samithi to construct her house and had been assured of receiving lights, fans, and switches. However, when she opened the package delivered to her doorstep, she found a male body inside, which led to immediate panic.
The police were alerted, and upon investigation, they found a letter in the parcel demanding ₹1.30 crore from Tulsi, threatening severe consequences if the amount was not paid. The body, believed to be of a 45-year-old man, was shifted to the hospital for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Authorities are also verifying missing person reports in nearby areas to help identify the deceased and ascertain whether foul play was involved. District Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi is leading the investigation and has summoned the Kshatriya Seva Samithi for questioning.
