US President Donald Trump has announced that his administration will impose reciprocal tariffs on Indian goods starting April 2, a move that has reignited tensions between the two countries over trade policies. Speaking to Breitbart News, Trump expressed frustration with what he described as India's excessively high tariffs on American products. During the interview, President Trump emphasized that while he maintains a "very good relationship" with India, the nation's steep import duties have been a persistent concern. "I have a very good relationship with India, but the only problem I have with India is they're one of the highest-tariffing nations in the world. I believe they're going to probably lower those tariffs substantially, but on April 2, we will be charging them the same tariffs they charge us," Trump said.
