Tamil Nadu’s professional boxer Sabari Jaishankar is set to headline the upcoming Super Fighter Series, an international boxing event scheduled for February 7 in Bangkok. Jaishankar, who is currently the WBC Middle East and WBC Australasia champion, will take on seasoned Thai boxer Rattakorn Tassaworn in an exciting match-up.
Jaishankar is not the only Indian boxer participating in this high-profile event. His fellow countrymen, Laldinsanga and Vanlalawmpuia, both from Mizoram, will also showcase their talents in the Super Fighter Series. Laldinsanga, who holds the WBC Youth World title, will face Thailand’s Sarawut Jiamthong, while Vanlalawmpuia will engage in an explosive contest against Supachat Sukonthamanee, another aggressive Thai fighter.
Organized by Crown Boxing Promotions and Grassroot Boxing Promotions, the event promises to be action-packed, featuring international boxers from countries like the USA, France, Belarus, Ukraine, and Thailand, alongside the three rising stars from India.
