The selection process for the Junior Assistant (Fire Services) position consists of multiple stages. The first stage is a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which lasts for two hours. Candidates from the UR, EWS, and OBC categories need to score at least 50 out of 100, while SC/ST candidates must score a minimum of 40 out of 100 to proceed. The second stage involves certificate verification, a medical examination including a Physical Measurement Test, a driving test for Light Motor Vehicles (requiring a valid driving license), and a Physical Endurance Test (PET), which is qualifying in nature.
