The elections season has set in in Andhra Pradesh as the state is heading for the assembly and parliamentary elections in the next three weeks or so. As the state head for the election, the affidavits that are being filed by the candidates are makin for an interesting reading.
Coming to the point, here is a look at the number of criminal cases filed against Chandrababu Naidu, Jagan Mohan Reddy, Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan, as declared by themselves in their affidavits.
CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has 26 pending cases against him including the disproportionate assets cases filed by the central authorities - CBI and ED.
Chandrababu Naidu has 24 cases against him including the AP skill scam, Fibergrid, Amaravati Inner Ring Road, and other scam cases filed by the AP CID.
Nara Lokesh has 23 cases against him and he is accused in almost all the cases that the AP CID had filed against his father Chandrababu Naidu. He is the main accused in the Inner ring road scam and Fibergrid scam.
Pawan Kalyan has 8 pending cases against him but the facts of the same haven't been established yet. He is the only leading politician with the least number of cases.
