The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the date for the SSC CPO 2024 Paper 2 examination. Scheduled for March 8, 2025, Paper 2 will be an essential part of the selection process for Sub-Inspector (SI) positions in Delhi Police and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Candidates are advised to regularly check the SSC official website for any updates or changes to the exam schedule.
The SSC CPO selection process consists of four stages: Paper 1, Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Paper 2, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Paper 1 is a computer-based exam with a total of 200 marks, covering General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Paper 2, also worth 200 marks, focuses solely on English Language and Comprehension. Both exams include objective multiple-choice questions, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
The selected candidates will be offered Sub-Inspector (GD) roles in CAPFs or Sub-Inspector (Executive) roles in Delhi Police, both with a pay scale of Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400). After the examinations, the SSC will upload the tentative answer keys on its website, and normalisation will be applied to the exam scores to determine the final merit list and cut-off marks. This transparent process ensures fair evaluation and helps candidates track their progress.
