Things to Carry for GATE 2025:
Candidates are required to bring their GATE 2025 admit card and a valid government-issued ID proof to the exam center. It is crucial to verify the details on the admit card, such as the candidate’s name, photograph, paper combinations, and exam timings, well in advance to avoid any last-minute confusion.
Prohibited Items in the Exam Hall:
The following items are strictly prohibited in the GATE 2025 exam hall:
Personal calculators, watches, wallets, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, and other communication gadgets.
Books, charts, tables, loose sheets, papers, data handbooks, pouches, or boxes. Any candidate found in possession of these items, even if unused, will face disqualification.
Important Exam Day Guidelines:
To ensure a smooth experience, candidates should arrive at the exam center at least 30 to 45 minutes before the scheduled exam time to avoid delays caused by traffic or crowding. A scribble pad will be provided for rough work, and candidates must write their name and registration number on it before use. Additionally, candidates can take their seats 40 minutes before the exam begins, and leaving the exam hall before the official end time is not permitted.
