Ahead of the Delhi elections on February 5, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu launched a scathing attack on AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, accusing his "half-engine sarkar" of ruining Delhi. Naidu criticized Kejriwal's handling of the pollution crisis, particularly the Yamuna River, which remains heavily polluted. He stated that a "double-engine government," led by the BJP, would be the only solution to address the city’s governance issues, including pollution and poor water quality.
 

Naidu also questioned AAP’s performance in Delhi and Punjab, labeling it a "failure model" despite AAP's governance in both states. He expressed concerns about the water quality in Delhi, describing it as "no different between drainage water and drinking water." Additionally, he pointed to the alleged liquor scam, which he labeled as the worst scam compared to others, calling for a broader discussion on corruption and wealth creation among politicians.
 

The Andhra CM further stated that economic progress had taken precedence over ideological differences. He remarked that global examples, like China's economic model, had shown that while political systems may vary, economic strategies are key to prosperity. Naidu supported the Union Budget, asserting that it was aligned with economic growth and dismissing concerns from opposition parties.As voting for the Delhi Assembly elections approaches, Naidu’s remarks underscore the high-stakes nature of the political battle in the national capital, with both local and national issues taking center stage.
