Rajnath Singh Meets Military Chiefs as India Hits Back at Pak Strikes

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met with Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan and the three service chiefs in Delhi early Friday morning, just hours after Pakistan escalated cross-border tensions by launching a series of coordinated drone and missile attacks on Indian military installations. The meeting, which came under the shadow of escalating military activity, focused on India’s immediate and future response strategies after Pakistan targeted key army stations in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur.

The attacks by Pakistan, which included multiple drones and missile strikes, marked a sharp spike in hostilities across the Line of Control (LoC). India responded swiftly under Operation Sindoor, delivering coordinated counterstrikes that reportedly destroyed several Pakistani military posts. Sources confirm that the Indian Army employed anti-tank guided missiles and advanced air defence systems to neutralise threats and dismantle Pakistani launch positions.
