CTET 2024 Answer Key Release: Steps to Check and Raise Objections

CTET 2024 Answer Key Release Details
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 answer key is expected to be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on January 1 or 2, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access the answer key and their response sheets via the official CTET website. If they find any discrepancies or errors, candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections.

  • Steps to Check the CTET Answer Key
To check the CTET 2024 answer key, follow these steps:

    • Visit the official CTET website.
    • Click on the "CTET 2024 Answer Key" link on the homepage.
    • Enter your credentials, such as your roll number and date of birth.
    • The provisional answer key will be displayed on the screen.
    • Download and save the answer key. If you have objections, follow the procedure to challenge it by paying the required fee.
    • Keep the payment receipt for future reference. If the objections are found valid, the challenge fee will be refunded.
  • Objection and Refund Process
If candidates believe there are errors in the answer key, they can challenge it by paying a fee. If the challenges are found to be valid by subject experts, the CBSE will make necessary revisions. Candidates will receive a refund of the objection fee if their challenge is accepted. Refunds will be processed to the same credit/debit card used for the payment, so it is recommended that candidates use their own card. The CBSE’s decision on the challenges will be final, and no further communication will be entertained.

  • CTET 2024 Exam Details
The CTET December 2024 exam was held on December 14, 2024, in two shifts. Paper 1 was for candidates who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 was for those aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8. Candidates must score at least 60% of the total marks to qualify, while the qualifying percentage for reserved category candidates is reduced to 55%. After qualifying, candidates will be eligible to apply for teaching positions in CBSE-affiliated schools.
