We're excited to welcome DJ and record producer Dlala Thukzin. Hailing from Lamontville, KwaZulu-Natal, Thukzin is renowned for his versatile blend of Amapiano, Afro Tech, and Gqom. He first gained prominence with his production on *** Wodumo's hit "Umngan'wami" from her 2016 studio album *Gqom Queen, Vol. 1*.
In 2021, Thukzin's tracks "Phuze" and "Phuze Remix" featuring Zaba, Mpura, Sir Trill, and Rascoe Kaos achieved Gold and Platinum status respectively, as certified by the Recording Industry of South Africa(RiSA). More recently, his 2023 release "iPlan" from the extended play (EP) *Permanent Music 3* topped the Local Streaming Chart, Local & International Streaming Chart, and Billboard South Africa songs chart, and was certified 2× Platinum in South Africa.
