Our summer fundraiser, traditionally held at the Tassajara One Room School, has been renamed "Schoolhouse Soirée."
Anticipate a one-of-a-kind evening, blending casual charm with an elegant ambiance. This event will take place al fresco, amidst the picturesque grounds encircling the Tassajara School House, also known as the One Room School House, situated at 1650 Finley Road in Danville. This historic schoolhouse served as an educational hub for four generations of San Ramon Valley children, spanning from 1889 to 1946.
This year's fundraiser aims to generate funds specifically allocated to support our educational programs. Your generous contribution toward this objective would be immensely valued and appreciated.
This year the evening’s activities will include:
Tour of the schoolhouse by a docent in period wardrobe
Program with Joe Fonzi, KTVU Sportscaster, as MC
Live music throughout the evening
A game of history trivia
A delightful outdoor dinner served beneath the grandeur of black walnut trees
Wine, beer and other beverages
Unique artifacts from the museum’s collections
Outdoor and schoolhouse games
Unable to attend the soiree? Please consider supporting us with a donation. Your donation will help us continue to present interesting and impactful exhibits as well as our enriching educational programs for the schoolchildren in our community.
