In honor of Black History Month, join us on Wednesday, February 5th from 6pm to 8pm for Arlo's Living Room Gallery opening reception at Art DC, the rooftop bar and lounge with stunning views of Capitol Hill located on the top floor of the new Arlo Washington D.C. hotel.
Observe the latest art installations by Halim Flowers and Clarence James and mingle with like-minded art enthusiasts and collectors.
During the evening, there will be an engaging panel moderated by Avalon Ashley Bellos, Executive Director of Media Communications at DTR Modern, that will explore the intersection of art, advocacy, and the evolving narrative of Black artists in contemporary art. About the Series
The Arlo Living Room Gallery series was created by Jasmine Arakel with the mission to bring contemporary art into publicly accessible spaces at Arlo Hotels. In partnership with DTR Modern, and for a limited time, we’re thrilled to exhibit paintings by Halim Flowers and Clarence James.
This event is open to the public, so feel free to bring your friends, colleagues, and open minds for a night of fine art, drinks, and discussion. About the Venue
