Telugu actor Akhil Akkineni, son of superstar Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, married Zainab Ravdjee in a traditional, intimate wedding ceremony on June 6 at the family’s Hyderabad residence. The wedding took place around 3 am, following Telugu customs, with only close friends and family in attendance.

The couple chose to twin in classic white. Akhil wore a white kurta, pancha, and angavastra, while Zainab stunned in a white and gold silk saree, paired with dazzling diamond jewelry. The couple opted for a simple home celebration, stepping away from grandiose industry-style weddings.

Among the special attendees were megastar Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha, actor Ram Charan, and Upasana Kamineni. The pre-wedding rituals were led by Nagarjuna and Amala, and Naga Chaitanya joined the family celebrations with his partner, actress Sobhita Dhulipala.

The baraat took place the previous evening and was followed by the ceremony, filled with warmth and tradition. Friends from the film and cricket worlds, including director Prashanth Neel, actor Sharwanand, and cricketer Tilak Varma, were part of the festivities.

The couple got engaged in November 2024, and Akhil had introduced Zainab on social media with a heartfelt post saying, “Found my forever. Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged.” A grand reception is expected soon, with several industry celebrities slated to attend.
