After recovering from an ankle injury, superstar Prabhas has resumed shooting for his highly anticipated film Fauji. The movie, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is set in 1945 during the British era and is expected to showcase a multi-dimensional performance by Prabhas, marking a departure from his recent action-heavy roles in Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD. A source close to the production revealed that Prabhas has been doing an excellent job since he began shooting again four days ago.
In Fauji, Prabhas plays a soldier in the British Army, a role that promises to highlight both his intense action sequences and a softer, more emotional side. This film will feature a poignant love story, with Prabhas paired opposite Imanvi, a dancer and social media influencer. Hanu Raghavapudi’s expertise in crafting heartfelt romances, as seen in Sita Ramam, is expected to bring a perfect balance of action and romance to the film.
The movie also stars veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada in significant roles, further elevating the film's appeal.
