Praveen Kandregula, known for Cinema Bandi, is back with a new rustic drama, Paradha, featuring Anupama Parameswaran in the lead role. The film also stars Darshana Rajendran and Sangitha in pivotal roles. The teaser, recently released, introduces Anupama's character, Subbu, a village girl who embarks on an adventurous journey with two other women. True to her traditions, Subbu always wears a Paradha, which symbolizes the deep-rooted beliefs and superstitions in her village.
The teaser highlights the villagers' commitment to their customs, going to great lengths for the well-being of their community. The story promises a mix of fun, intensity, and emotional depth. Praveen Kandregula’s authentic storytelling shines through, with Anupama Parameswaran delivering a compelling performance as Subbu, a character bound by tradition. Darshana Rajendran and Sangitha also make a strong impact in their supporting roles.
Cinematography by Mridul Sujit Sen brings the rural setting to life, while Gopi Sundar’s background score adds to the intensity.
