The ongoing Manchu family controversy took a new turn when Nirmala Manchu, wife of actor and politician Manchu Mohan Babu, addressed the allegations made by her younger son, Manchu Manoj, against his elder brother, Manchu Vishnu. Manoj had accused Vishnu of tampering with the generator during Nirmala’s birthday celebration on December 14, claiming he poured sugar into the machine to disrupt the power supply.
In her letter to the Pahadisharif police, Nirmala strongly denied Manoj’s claims. She clarified that Vishnu had visited her home in Jalpalli with a cake to celebrate her birthday, and the family had gathered peacefully without any incident. According to Nirmala, Vishnu had left the gathering after collecting some belongings from his room, and there were no signs of aggression or conflict.
Nirmala also addressed the accusation regarding the tampering of CCTV footage, claiming that Manoj had altered the footage to falsely implicate Vishnu. She further clarified that the household staff had voluntarily quit and were not influenced by Vishnu in any way.
Reaffirming that Vishnu had no involvement in the incident, Nirmala urged the police to dismiss her son Manoj’s allegations and emphasized that both sons had equal rights to the family property.
