The Andhra Pradesh government has granted permission for a ticket price hike for the highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule, set to release on December 5th. In a move similar to Telangana, the government has approved an increase of 800 rupees for premiere tickets, starting on December 4th. From December 5th onwards, multiplex tickets will see a hike of 200 rupees, while single-screen tickets will increase by 150 rupees. This price hike will remain in effect for the first week of the film's release, after which the ticket prices will return to normal.
The film's team, including stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj, is expecting a massive opening with the ticket price increase, especially for the premiere and opening day. The team is also anticipating a record-breaking debut in the USA.
