Vijay Sethupathi, Nithilan Saminathan, Passion Studios, The Route, NVR Cinema’s Maharaja Release Trailer is out now
Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi is coming up with his milestone 50th movie Maharaja which is gearing up for a grand release simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu on June 14th. The film was directed by Nithilan Saminathan and produced prestigiously by Sudhan Sundaram under the Passion Studios banner and Jagadish Palanisamy’s The Route. It also stars Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role. NVR Cinemas will release the Telugu version of the movie.
The makers who previously awe-struck movie buffs with the theatrical trailer dropped a release trailer just a while ago. The trailer starts with Maharaja who is a barber by profession sitting at a police station and talking about losing his Lakshmi. He even tries to bribe and requests the investigative officer to transfer the case to the CBI. The trailer also shows glimpses of Anurag Kashyap who seems to play the role of a cold-blooded dacoit.
Vijay Sethupathi who sported a salt and pepper get-up looked intense all through. Anurag Kashyap is remarkable in a negative-shaded role. It was evident through the trailer that Maharaja is a different actioner with a new concept.
Dinesh Purushothaman’s camera work stands out, whereas B Ajaneesh Loknath’s background score complements the visuals. The editing was done by Philomin Raj.
Maharaja also stars Mamta Mohandas, Bharathiraja, Natarajan Subramaniam, Singampuli, and Kalki.
