Salaar 2 marks the coming together of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel for the second time after their world-building first exercise of Salaar. The stakes are exceptionally high on the sequel which is due to commence the shoot.
As per the latest updates, the shooting for Salaar 2 could commence as early as this May. First, the portion featuring the support cast will be shot and then comes the part featuring Prabhas which will be shot later.
Prabhas is ready to allot bulk dates for Salaar 2 but first, he must complete shooting for Kalki which is the biggest project in his career. He will then have to accommodate Salaar 2 somehow.
Once the shoot resumes, the filming will be wrapped up rather quickly as certain portion of the second part was already shot along with the first part.
The chances are that Salaar 2 could be heading for its theatrical release in the latter half of 2025. More clarity on the second part could be out once the shoot starts. The lead cast is being informed about the tentative release plans for now though.
