The prestigious Oscars event was held night and it was a gala affair with several Hollywood stars in attendance. Box office blockbuster Oppenheimer was the star of the show with multiple wins to its name.
Al Pacino was invited on stage to announce the winner of the Best Picture Category and he unveiled that Oppenheimer has secured the award in this category.
Apart from that Christopher Nolan, after having been nominated to the Oscars 8 times in the past has finally won the Best Director Award for Oppenheimer. This is an accreditation to his impeccable body of work.
Cillian Murphy who played the main lead in Oppenheimer won the Best Actor award. Robert Downey Jr won the Best Supporting Actor Award for the film.
In total, Oppenheimer won 7 awards as it swept the awards event with its immaculate run. Emma Stone won the Best Actor Female award for her performance in Poor Things film.
