The film is directed and produced by Ajay Karthurvar himself under the banner of Ajay Kumar Productions in collaboration with Chandana Koppisetty. The movie features the very versatile actor – Ajay Kumar, the Bigg Boss Telugu Bhanu Shree and Shweta Mehta , winner of Roadies in prominent roles. Ajay Gadu also features other talented actors such as Prachi Thaker, Abhay Bethiganti, Jayasree Garu and Yaddam Raju amongst others.
'Ajay Gadu' narrates the story of Ajay, a middle-class struggler trying to adapt to the fast-paced world of money, fame, and love. Faced with the temptation to give up, Ajay finds inspiration in Shwetha, a drug-addicted medico. The film explores Ajay's journey as he confronts his inner demons and battles the challenges presented by the external world, making resilience and self-discovery the crux of the narrative.
