Guntur Kaaram and Hanuman are the two films that are directly clashing at the box office this Sankranthi season weekend. The two films are releasing on the 12th of January, marking the Sankranthi season.
However, sadly for Hanuman, the film is getting completely dominated by Guntur Kaaram in terms of theatrical allotments and we are hearing that the Mahesh Babu starrer has blown away the smaller film.
The theatrical distribution on average is at 90-95% for Guntur Kaaram while Hanuman is settling for less than 10% of the theaters. This is a mega colossal disaster for Hanuman.
Of the 96 single screens in Hyderabad, Guntur Kaaram is getting 90 theaters while Hanuman is getting 6 theaters. The film is not getting even a notable opening in the city and other parts of the Telugu states.
