Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu has officially made his political debut today as he has joined in the ruling party of Andhra Pradesh, YSRC. He is officially a member of the YSRCP now.
Rayudu will be an integral member of YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh henceforth and he is expected to contest from an assembly constituency in Guntur district or from the Guntur parliamentary constituency.
Rayudu is said to be expecting Guntur MP ticket for now and is ready to even take the MLA ticket if given the offer. He is to be one of the main campaigners for YSRCP in Guntur district henceforth.
Rayudu retired from Cricket only in 2023 and he has already joined the YSRCP in the presence of Jagan Mohan Reddy and deputy CM of AP, K Narayana Swamy.
It has to be seen if Rayudu can make a winning debut in politics by winning from Guntur constituency in the coming election. He is confident about making a winning debut in the electoral polls though.
