We usually see opposition Leaders joining in the ruling party before the election with the hope that the party will regain power and possibly be in a more favorable position. But the situation is different in AP with the scenario going upside down.
YCP Vizag MLC, Vamsi Krishna Yadav left the Jagan-led party and went on to join Jana Sena party. He made the political switch today and it has become a talking point already.
Vamsi Krishna Yadav met with Pawan Kalyan in the presence of Nadendla Manohar and the he joined the party. He vowed to have a fruitful return with the party starting soon. This comes right before the election and the fact that a ruling party MLA went on to join JSP which has no representation in the assembly has led to a discussion.
Vamsi said he didn't get the MLA ticket from Jagan and that is the reason why he is making the switch and joining JSP. He said Pawan Kalyan is a committed leader and he wishes to work under the latter's leadership for the next election.
Vamsi worked with Pawan Kalyan's Yuvasena back in the day when PRP was relevant in AP. So it is a sort of coming together between Pawan and Vamsi with the latter joining JSP today.
Vamsi is confirmed to get Vizag west MLA ticket from JanaSena party in the due course. He is one of the confirmed contestants for the party in the coming election.
