The OTT space is seeing two major developments and this is regarding two biggies, Guntur Kaaram and Animal. While one update is regarding the OTT release date of Animal, the other is regarding the OTT partner of Guntur Kaaram.
As for Guntur, Kaaram, the all-language OTT rights of this Mahesh Babu starrer has been acquired by Netflix for a whopping amount of money. The project marks the coming together of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram so the anticipation is naturally high on the same. So the film is likely to have fetched a fancy price from Netflix.
Guntur Kaaram is having its theatrical release in January and it will have its OTT debut in February and if that isn't possible, it will certainly debut by the first week of March.
Coming to Animal, the film has already sealed its theatrical run with a blockbuster return in terms of pan Indian collections. It has also sealed Netflix as its OTT partner.
The film is set for its OTT debut on Netflix on the 26th of January. An official word on the same is expected to be out soon. Netflix will stream this film in multiple languages, starting from the mentioned date.
