Telugu director Venkatesh Maha is known for making striking comments. This time, he has done something that has earnt him social media hate. While the timeline is filled with Salaar posts, given that the new trailer for the film dropped today, Venkatesh shared a snap of his ticket to Dunki which is releasing in competition with Salaar.
This led to comments on social media that Venkatesh has crossed the line by booking the ticket for a Hindi film while it is in competition with a Telugu biggie like Salaar.
The director quickly realized his mistake and he wrote "Ok guys, calm down. I think you are mistaking a coincidence. I have no other intentions while writing my previous post than sharing my excitement for Dunki. I just got to know that the trailer of Salaar got released after your comments. Stop talking without knowing facts guys. I am a big fan of Prabhas garu since his first film and I always wished to work with him. There were many instances I openly said it. I just watched the trailer of Salaar too and it looks amazing" Venkatesh tweeted.
Shortly after, he deleted his Twitter handle and left Twitter for the time being after amassing a lot of negativity for the said act.
