The second song from Guntur Karam was unveiled by the makers the other day and it opened to rather mixed reviews from most quarters. Even Mahesh Babu's fans weren't entirely pleased with the quality of the work and they have been bashing Thaman through social media trolls in a sign of protest.
Incidentally, ace lyricist Ramajogaiah Sastry who penned the lyrics for the song has also been under intense scrutiny from fans all the while. He has now had an outburst about the same.
In reaction to the absolute trolls on social media, the lyricist has had an outbreak and he began to call out the social media trolls in an aggressive tweet.
"Social media is going to DOGS…people who do not know a thing abt the process..think that they can comment and judge…with all d ill intentions..of spreading hate..targeting the technicians…NO..NOT at all good.. Someone should stop this. They are crossing the limits” Sastry tweeted out a little while ago.
This fierce response from a senior technician is not expected, especially for social media trolling form fans. What needs to be noted is that the fans are particular about the quality of the work of their heroes and technicians. Unsatisfactory will obviously invite trolls. But on Sastry's defense, he is an exceptionally talented lyricist and has penned songs like gems in the past. Abusing him is not a wise thing to do by anyone.
