Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is the biggest mass hero in Tamil cinema and the stakes were really high on his recent film, Leo which was released amidst great hype and anticipation.
Leo has closed its theatrical run and it is one of the highest-grossing films ever in the Tamil market. Now, the film is set for its OTT debut, and here is an interesting new update on the same.
Leo has sealed 24 November as its official OTT release date and an official communication to this effect was made by Netflix a little while ago.
Netflix announced that Leo will stream on their platform from the 24th of this month. This is for the Indian OTT market.
Leo will then make its global OTT debut on Netflix on the 28th of this month. This film can be streamed in all the countries in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam languages from the 28th of November.
As for the Indian OTT market, the film will stream in the aforementioned languages from the 24th. So the film is essentially making its OTT debut roughly 5 weeks from its theatrical release.
